Eve Coaching and Consulting is a founder-led boutique practice helping senior leaders and leadership teams lead with greater clarity, presence and influence in complex, matrix organisations navigating change and transformation.

Founded by Edwin Eve, the practice combines Fortune 100 transformation, innovation and leadership development experience with professional coaching rigour, behavioural science and systemic team coaching.

The work is shaped by years inside complex organisations, where leadership challenges are rarely just about individual capability. They are also shaped by pressure, politics, ambiguity, incentives, relationships and the conversations people avoid.

That is why our work stays personal, confidential and practical, while being grounded in the realities of senior organisational life. The practice supports leaders and teams through executive coaching, leadership team coachingand specialist coaching programmes for leaders facing greater visibility, complexity and pressure.

Why Enterprise Experience Matters

Senior leadership rarely gets difficult because people lack models. It gets difficult because of pressure, politics, ambiguity, incentives, relationships and competing priorities.

Before founding Eve Coaching and Consulting, Edwin spent 22 years at 3M in roles spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, business leadership teams, leadership development, innovation and transformation. That experience shapes the practice: commercially grounded, psychologically informed and alert to how organisations really work.

Since 2017, Edwin has coached and developed senior leaders internationally, including C-suite executives, through global leadership development and organisational transformation work. Clients value his ability to work at the intersection of commercial reality, organisational dynamics, and human behaviour - so sessions go beyond surface performance issues to the systems, relationships, and decisions that drive outcomes.

Edwin is known for a style that is warm, direct, and standards-led: supportive challenge without collusion; practical action without fads.

Explore how this experience informs executive coaching, leadership team coaching and transformation consultancy for complex organisational change.

Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy is grounded in a simple belief: capability is already there - our job is to remove what blocks it and build what sustains it.

I work as a thinking partner. Together we focus on:

  • Clarity: what matters, what’s true, and what’s being avoided

  • Deepening self-awareness that unlocks choice on how you want to be

  • Behaviour change: translating insight into new habits under pressure

  • System awareness: how culture, incentives, power and relationships shape outcomes

  • Supportive challenge: direct, respectful conversations that are psychologically safe and commercially real

Where coaching is sponsored, I use clean contracting so expectations and confidentiality are clear and coaching doesn’t drift into politics or dependency.

How we work with leaders and teams

Slide titled ‘How I Work with Leaders and Teams’ describing work at three levels—leader, leadership team, and wider context—alongside a 3-level transformation model diagram.

Leadership isn’t just tools and models. It’s how you think, relate, and decide under pressure.

A leader may come to coaching because of a visible challenge: a transition, a stakeholder issue, a difficult team dynamic or a need for stronger presence. But the visible issue is rarely the whole story.

We look at three connected levels: the leader, the leadership team and the wider system around the work.

  1. You as a leader
Your patterns under pressure, decision-making defaults, blind spots, and the internal story shaping behaviour.

  2. Your leadership team
How you decide together, what doesn’t get said, where you avoid conflict or accountability, and how trust actually functions.

  3. Your wider context
Culture, incentives, stakeholder expectations, history, and the unwritten rules shaping everyone’s behaviour.

“My job is to give you a space where you can be completely honest, get challenged respectfully, and move forward with more clarity than you walked in with.”

I use evidence-based coaching methods from neuroscience, cognitive-behavioural, positive psychology, cross-cultural, compassionate mind, systemic and psychodynamic work – but I’ll only ever talk about models if they help you. Most of our time is spent on your real situations, not on theory.

Common reasons clients come to us

Change can feel lonely - coaching provides clarity, support and challenge to help you find your right path forward.

Change, transition and scrutiny

  • Leading through growth, restructuring, uncertainty or increased visibility

  • Moving into a bigger role, broader remit or more complex stakeholder environment

  • Balancing strategic leadership with operational pressure

Presence, influence and enterprise leadership

  • Strengthening executive presence, personal impact and Board-level communication

  • Influencing peers, Boards and senior stakeholders without relying on authority

  • Shifting from expert operator to enterprise leader

Self-awareness, resilience and leadership range

  • Building emotional intelligence and behavioural flexibility under pressure

  • Understanding personal patterns, blind spots and impact on others

  • Using assessment insight to sharpen development focus where useful

  • Sustaining performance without losing judgement, energy or perspective

Leadership team and system performance

  • Helping leadership teams challenge, support and execute together

  • Building trust, accountability and cross-cultural collaboration

  • Working with the wider organisational dynamics that keep problems stuck

These themes can be explored through broader executive coaching, specialist coaching, leadership team coaching or consultancy, depending on where the challenge sits.

What clients value most…

Clients often come when something important is shifting: a bigger role, a difficult transition, a team under strain or a need to lead with more presence and influence.

Clients often describe the work as both challenging and supportive: commercially practical, psychologically safe and direct enough to create movement.

A brief personal note

Outside work, family is central to my life. I also volunteer as a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award leader, which keeps me close to questions of confidence, responsibility and growth in another setting. I recharge through film, walking, travel and finding a good sunset.
